Welcome

Congratulations everyone on making it to Geography's Big Week Out for 2015! We are spending the week in a beautiful part of our world, start by checking out North Stradbroke Island from above before we explore it all on the ground in a few weeks.

In short, you will really enjoy this week. In terms of the spatial technologies I have incorporated a few activities into our week with my mind on the fact that some (or even all) of you may not have used spatial technologies in school or at home, so don't worry about not being able to do it! Usually most GBWO participants have not used these tools or have only done basic stuff like using Google Earth so there should be no advantages.

This website will be our spatial home base for the week. Hopefully you know what spatial thinking is and what spatial technologies are, don't fret if you have no clue. There is some material to get you started on the Prep and Sunday tab along the top of this page. Go there now and check it out.

I'll see you soon!
